“Intelligent people are always ready to learn. Their ears are open for knowledge.” (Proverbs 18:15 NLT)

Happy Friday everyone! Eric Hoffer shared this, “In times of change, the learner shall inherit the earth, but the learned shall find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with the world that no longer exists.” How do you deal with change? Eric’s point is that we deal with change by continually embracing learning.

And I want to encourage you to do that this weekend. The Lord has given us such a beautiful opportunity to use these minds to learn and to grow. In fact, Proverbs 18:15 encourages us to this very end. It says, “Intelligent people are always ready to learn. Their ears are open for knowledge.” You know, one of the things that will really help in your pursuit of life is learning. And the scriptures are here to guide that learning.

And there are also so many things around us that we are discovering and learning about what God has made in this world, and what God has made in our minds, and what God has made in these bodies. And we have such a beautiful opportunity to continue learning, and continue to grow in wisdom and in truth.

I encourage you this weekend, to maybe to learn about something that maybe you don’t currently know about. I encourage you to stretch out and keep learning.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, we thank You for the opportunity to learn and to grow. For Your creation is beautiful and wonderful and it is good. And even though we live in a fallen world, Lord, there are so many things and truths that we can discover and learn about. And most importantly, we learn about Your redemption plan.

And Lord, would You help us this weekend to continue to pursue learning and to continue to grow in our knowledge of who you are and who You’ve created and called us to be? We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
