Hey everybody, happy Friday.  You know, God said that it’s not good for man to be alone, and never has that been more true and important than after a disaster.  I’m here at this great event, the Community Care event following the disaster a year ago for the Ruidoso community.  People are coming together, they’re listening to music, they are having food, we had a time of prayer and remembrance.  You know, it’s so important for us to make sure that we spend time together.  That’s how God designed life to be lived.

So as you go out this weekend, what are the opportunities you might take to be together and not be alone?  I pray that everybody would have a place to go this weekend, where you can express, and experience, that community.  You know a great place to do that?  Worship.  See you there.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You very much that You designed us the way You did, that You created us the way You did – wonderful creations.  We give You thanksgiving for that, and pray that You would keep us mindful of the community that You invite us into, and that we would participate, that we would lean in, and find out the blessing that it is, all as Your design and gift.  We pray this in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
