Happy Friday, everyone. You know, it’s really important for things to be clean. I needed to get my car washed because after a recent trip, I have bug guts and all kinds of things due to a lot of miles traveled, all over my car, and so it doesn’t ruin the paint and everything else. It’s time to get that car washed.

In a similar way, that’s what happens for us when we get an opportunity to come before the Lord and become clean. That’s why the Psalmist went to the Lord and said, “Create in me a clean heart.” And that’s what we’re going to pray together for this weekend as we go into this weekend that the Lord would clean our hearts and would renew us and refresh us, that we might truly enjoy the abundant life that He’s called us to live.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, we thank You very much for Your death on the cross and for giving us new life. We know that You are coming again, and one of the things you call us to do is to make sure that we are prepared for Your second coming.
