Today the movement slows.

Plans are whispered in corners.
Thirty pieces of silver change hands.
Judas agrees to betray Jesus.

Jesus knows.

He is not surprised.
He is not trapped.
He is choosing the road ahead.

He walks straight toward betrayal.
Toward abandonment.
Toward loneliness.

If you have ever been wounded by someone you trusted,
Jesus has walked that road.

He steps into the darkness
with eyes wide open.

Not because He must.
Because He loves.

And every step He takes…
is a step for you.
